WLAN

There are many ways to secure a WLAN.  Overall no matter what way you decide to secure the network, if someone is determined enough to get through the security, they will.  The first way I would like to mention would be well locked down access to the network.  A lot of wireless networks are unsecured and poorly secured by the factory settings.  If you go buy a router you are instructed to go to a website and set up your router.  The factory issues a default user name and password in order to access this website.  Everyone that purchases onewireless-lan-security of these routers is using the same user name and password to access this website to set up their routers.  Encryption would be another way to secure a WLAN.  Another way would be to use secondary complex passwords.  An example of a complex password would be something that has lower case letters, capital letters, and a series of numbers.

If the security of the WLAN were to be breached, a lot of consequences could come from it.  The most harmful for a company would be the theft of company information and financial materials.  Even more damage could be done to the network if the hacker decided to do damage to the physical aspect of the network or the software.  This could be something like viruses or ruining the programming that is done on the network.
